The 7km event is a single, flowing lap on the brand-new runway at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) – giving you the full Runway experience in a shorter format.
You’ll head out alongside the runway on smooth, flat tarmac, take in the incredible open-air surroundings, turn and run back up the length of the runway before making your final turn toward the finish line. It’s simple, fast and built for rhythm, making it ideal for runners chasing a fast PB or for those wanting to experience the Runway in one lap. Take in the surroundings and soak in being the first and last runners ever on the WSI Runway.
With wide-open space, minimal turns and no hills, the course may be the flattest in Sydney and at a one-time only location that’ll soon open as Sydney’s only 24/7 international, domestic and cargo gateway.
